Following last year's inaugural South East O65S squad entry into the area masters tournament with just a squad of 12 players, they went one better to 13 this year! They took a trip to Bristol in 2024, but didn't have far to travel this time as Folkestone Optimist HC were the hosts. They were determined to better their 1 point, 1 goal and last place last year, and they certainly did.

Going into their last match, they needed a win to put themselves in a bronze position. However, it wasn't to be, as a draw wasn't quite enough. They finished a very creditable fourth with two wins, two draws, and two losses.

The squad never gave up, and thanks go to Sue C and Sue O for their excellent coaching, Captain Sue C for leading from the front, and Dave, the Team Manager. This was a big step forward for the O65s.
