The ladies SE 50s side went to Bowden last weekend to defend their title.
On the hottest weekend of the year they gave it all they had.
The tournament was brilliant fun as usual.
It was a close tussle with us only losing one game to East in a hard fought game where we had several chances but just couldn’t put them away. East managed to put away their one chance and won it 1-0.
East won it in the end with us only one point behind them.
It was a fantastic showcase of hockey and the SE 50s did us proud winning a much deserved silver.
Our own Jennie Hoyte won the top goal scorer of the tournament at 8 goals.
